TEP Roof installs bituminous waterproofing on podium decks, foundation walls and plinths. On podium decks, the work interfaces with surface layers and drainage; on foundation walls, it protects the below-ground structure and connects with surrounding earthworks. We review the waterproofing design, substrate preparation and junctions with the client. Before covering work begins, we agree inspections and responsibilities for protecting the completed waterproofing.

Check the substrate’s suitability and install the waterproofing and junctions to the design.

Agree inspection and documentation of the waterproofing before proceeding to the next construction layers.

What types of project do you waterproof?

The service covers podium decks, such as structures over car parks, as well as foundation wall and plinth waterproofing. Work may be part of a new build or repairs to an existing structure.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Provide the project location, structural and waterproofing plans, estimated extent of the work and programme. Also explain responsibility for preparation, excavation and protective layers if already defined.

Are excavation and surface construction included in the contract?

The scope is agreed for each project. Preparatory work, excavation and layers installed above the waterproofing should be agreed separately so that responsibilities are clear.
